She doesn't follow her friend's advice

Mrs AP decides to rest a bit and wait for her hand to get better on its own.

At the same time she decides to have her grandson over for the upcoming weekend because her daughter is going away on a business trip. This means extra work for her. By the end of the weekend her hand is in worse shape, she in severe pain, her hand is swollen and unable to move properly. 

She regrets not following her friend's advice and not visiting her GP.
