Screening and diagnosing glucose intolerance in pregnancyThis algorithm describes the diagnostic pathway to investigate glucose (Glu) intolerance during pregnancy, according to Endocrine Society (ES) guidelines, published in 2013. Diagnosis is based on data recorded in medical history and laboratory tests performed in the appropriate gestational age. The aim is to distinguish, as soon as possible, pregnants with any of the following types of glucose intolerance:
