Experimental set-up

Dr. Lee instructs the students to draw a diagram of the 24-well plate and incorporate two concentrations of Supplement X. He draws an empty 24-well plate and asks you to copy and label.

Elena: ‘Dr. Lee, why only two concentrations of Supplement X?’

Dr. Lee: ‘Good question, Elena. Two concentrations let us observe a basic dose-response relationship without overcomplicating the setup. If we see significant differences between the low (10 μL) and high doses (50μL), it’s a great starting point for refining future experiments with additional concentrations.’

What should be included in your experimental set-up?

1. Experimental Setup #1: Triplicates of (a) cells with media only, (b) cells with a low dose of Supplement X and (c) cells with a high dose of Supplement X NODE 14
