Perform laboratory tests

Laboratory parameters that need to be measured are:

  • R 1.2, R 3.2d Glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c)
  • R 3.2a-d Fasting plasma Glucose (Glu)
  • R 3.2a Pre-prandial blood Glu
  • R 3.2c 1-h post-meal Glu
  • R 3.2c 2-h post-meal Glu
  • R 1.6a Serum creatinine
  • R 1.6a Urine albumin / creatinine ratio
  • R 1.6a Estimated glomerular filtration rate (e-GFR)
  • R 1.10 Thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH)
  • R 1.10 Thyperoxidase antibodies (Anti-TPO)
 
in order to estimate whether glycemic control is sufficient or not, and to screen and/or follow up other systems's dysfunction.
