Dr. Raj agrees with you that beta-blockers may be useful drugs in some patients with Grave's disease as cardiac function and electrical conductance may be increased.  

However, she does not agree that this is the best drug for Sam in the first instance, since you have not prescribed a drug to address the root of the problem i.e. increased activity of the thyroid gland.
