Dexamethasone

Dexamethasone is a glucocorticoid. It is useful as an anti-emetic in chemotherapy. Adverse effects include hyperglycemia, mood changes, insomnia, immunosuppression, and fluid retention. It does not cause extrapyramidal effects or prolactin-mediated galactorrhea.
