Are you sure that antacids can prevent NSAID-induced gastric damage? Firstly, they are definitely not a prostaglandin analogue. Secondly, they are generally indicated for dyspepsia and symptomatic relief from GORD.This is not the drug that Dr. Vasiliou is refferring to.
