You should never use antacids

Dr. Demetriou refers Mr. Mason for an upper endoscopy and cultures. The next available appointment is in two weeks' time.

In the meantime, Mr. Mason is in a lot of discomfort and he phones up Dr. Demetriou to ask if he could take some of his 'stomach medication'. Dr. Demetriou agrees that this is a good idea and gives him appropriate advice in regards to the use of antacids. She turns to you and asks you to reconsider your advice as antacids have been offering some relief for Mr. Mason and she does not see why he could stop them altogether.

Please go back and re-consider.
