Microscopic Observation

Microscopic observation might seem like a reasonable approach for many biological analyses, but it is not suitable for directly visualizing the results of a restriction enzyme digestion. Restriction digestion involves cutting DNA into specific fragments, and the goal is to analyze these fragments based on size. Microscopy, while powerful for observing cell structures or even stained chromosomes, does not allow for the clear separation and visualization of DNA fragments that result from an enzymatic digestion.

Keep considering other techniques that align with the needs of fragment separation and pattern visualization.
