You: Osmosis is the movement of water from a solution with a high concentration of water molecules to a solution with a low concentration of water molecules. Therefore, water molecules will move inside the cell from the hypotonic solution and out of the cell for the hypertonic solution. In isotonic solution the water will move in and out of the cell.
