Misses her follow up visit to the doctor

After missing some days of medication, Mrs AP experiences higher levels of pain.

She thought that by taking pain medicines for some days she would be covered and the effect of the medication would last. She does not know that this not the case.

She finds info online and reads about the way NSAIDs work (Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are medicines that are widely used to relieve pain, reduce inflammation, and bring down a high temperature) and how acetaminophen (or paracetamol) works (acetaminophen is used to treat mild to moderate pain, moderate to severe pain in conjunction with opiates, or to reduce fever. Common conditions treated include headache, muscle aches, arthritis, backache, toothaches, sore throat, colds, flu, and fevers).

Mrs AP realizes that she has a lot to learn, she needs to educate herself more and ask her doctor about things she does not understand.

Stopping her pain medication was obviously the wrong choice. The pain has become unbearable by now.
