Less intensive diet and exercise

After a few more months, Maria cuts down on the intensity of both her dietary and exercise plan.

She has discussed with her trainer and nutritionist that she is a bit tired of trying so hard. She is afraid that she will relapse to her previous state and that her pain level will be bad again.

Both of the professionals she is working with reassure her that she has nothing to worry about. They will adjust her plans for now. She absolutely can take some time, rest for a bit, because it's obvious that she needs it. They can resume her original plan after a couple of months when she feels stronger and motivated enough.

Until then it's a good thing she is not stopping altogether, so she can sustain all her progress. Maria is happy with herself and feels that things can work out for the best.

Adjusting her lifestyle had a positive outcome
