Treatment with dabigatran 150mg BiD is initiated and fondaparinux is discontinued. Dabigatran is non-inferior to VKAs and is

recommended in an IB class of recommendation.

Patient had an uneventful hospitalization. Is transferred to the yard and dismissed in clinically stable condition.
