Explain yourself!

The doctor is called to explain his decision by his supervising doctor.

He tells him that you he is not supposed to place a patient on a potentially dangerous therapy such as OAC without a definite diagnosis.

He is sent in front of the hospital's review board investigated for possible malpractice. 

This attitude of premature diagnosis and treatment may lead patients to serious complications and doctors to serious consequences.
