Management of overt diabetes (DM) and gestational diabetes (GDM)

This algorithm includes a step-by-step screening, diagnostic and therapeutic approach for pregnant diagnosed with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) or overt diabetes mellitus (DM). The first steps include common management for both cases  whereas the last ones describe the pharmacological therapy in each case (initiation and/or modification of medication already used) according to the Endocrine Society (ES - USA) Guidelines, published in 2013.
