Yes, overt DM is suspected

Blood Glu-lowering medication is not indicated for women with GDM after delivery and should be discontinued unless overt DM is suspected with accompanying hyperglycemia of a degree unlikely to respond sufficiently to lifestyle therapy alone. In such cases:
