Exlpain the procedure and ask for consensus

Explaining what you are going to do is something very important. It will help your patient feel more comfortable and get familiarised with the procedure. You may prevent that way the "white coat syndrome" and have a more accurate value in your measurement.

You can then answer any questions that George have and ask for his consensus, as for every medical procedure.

Now you would like to ensure that George has been rested as much as needed.

What are you going to ask your patient?

Ask if the patient has been rested for at least 5 minutes
Ask if the patient has been rested for at least 15 minutes
Ask if the patient has been rested for at least 10 minutes

  • Discuss with my dentist at my appointment for the best way to manage my warfarin scheme.
