Metolazone (Thiazide-like diuretic)

That does not sound right. Adverse effects associated with thiazide diuretics include volume depletion, hyponatremia, hypokalaemia and orthostatic hypotension. These can precipitate falls, especially in winter conditions, but thiazide-type agents decrease urinary calcium loss and can be modestly favourable for bone over time. This does not increase intrinsic fracture susceptibility.
