Vital Signs

Doctor: "Alright, Mr. Hartono, before we move on to the next part of the examination, I’d like us to get a quick update on your vital signs to see how your body is handling everything today. Nurse Rina is going to help me check your blood pressure, heart rate, breathing, and temperature. We'll be right here with you. Is that alright?"

Mr. Hartono: "Yes, Doctor, that’s fine."

Doctor: "Thank you. Nurse Rina, could you please go ahead?"

(Nurse Rina steps forward, showing the equipment)

Nurse Rina: "Hello Mr. Hartono. I’m just going to wrap this cuff around your arm for your blood pressure. It will give a gentle squeeze for a moment. Just try to relax your arm and breathe normally for me."

(After a brief pause while the vitals are taken)

Nurse Rina: "All done. Doctor, his blood pressure is 135/85, heart rate is 90 and regular, respiratory rate is 18, and temperature is 37.1 degrees."

Doctor: "Thank you, Nurse Rina. Well, Mr. Hartono, those are very reassuring numbers. Your blood pressure is at a good, controlled level. Your heart rate is steady at 90 beats per minute, your breathing rate is perfectly normal at 18 breaths a minute, and you don't have a fever. You are doing really well so far.
