Goes back to her routine with better self-management skills

Anna has gone back to her routine, doing all her activities and enjoying her life with her husband and her friends much more now than before.

This has been a learning process for her, because at first she had to make some choices, and some of them were not the correct ones. When she started therapy she did not expect that her pain would be affected in such a degree from the way she was thinking and catastrophizing about everything. She worked really hard and had to do some radical changes for her to be where she is today.

She started working out with a professional trainer and she went to a pain clinic. Getting professional help instead of listening to friends and random advice over the internet or on facebook groups helped her understand better and become more skilled on managing her pain of her hip OA.

She even learned how to use an mHealth application, to register her pain levels, her medication doses, her daily activities and mood swings and be able to communication with her GP.
