Go back and continue therapy

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is an intervention that aims to reduce symptoms of various conditions in a relatively short period of time (average duration of therapy 8 to 12 sessions), focuses on challenging and changing cognitive distortions (such as thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes) and their associated behaviors to improve emotional regulation and develop personal coping strategies that target solving current problems.

By week 12, Anna has a good grasp of all possible tools to better self-manage her pain due to her hip OA. She now feels more empowered to manage "bad" periods with flare ups of her OA.
