Empagliflozin (SGLT2 inhibitor)That’s not quite right. Empagliflozin, an SGLT2 inhibitor, improves glycaemic control and reduces heart failure hospitalization and renal outcomes in appropriate patients, but it does not relieve exertional angina. There is no indication of diabetes or symptomatic heart failure driving his chest pain, and SGLT2 inhibitors do not reduce myocardial oxygen demand during exertion in the way that other drugs would. Please go back and re‑consider. |
