Hmm.. Do you remember the indications for isosorbide nitrate in CHF? Remember that isosorbide nitrate, when combined with hydralazine, has been shown to be beneficial in patients of African origin. It can also be prescribed for patients intolerant to ACEIs/beta blockers. This is not the most appropriate drug for Mrs. Reed.
