Are you sure? Dr. Taylor reminds you that therapy with an angiotensin receptor-neprilysin inhibitor (ARNI) is very beneficial for the treatment of chronic heart failure. Since Mrs. Reed was diagnosed with heart failure two years ago, she is likely already taking a drug that inhibits the RAAS pathway. The benefits of using an ARNI in the acute setting are not clear though.
