Cisto-Prostatectomy

Actually it's the best thing to do, after chemotherapy, in order to reduce the risk of recurrence of the disease.

Pelvic nodes are not involved

Chemo is used to reduce the possible micro metastasys all around the body ( since the cancer was muscle invasive) and Surgery is used to be sure that nothing can recur in the bladder.

How would you manage the patient at that point?

  • Do nothing the patient is disease-free
  • Start Immunotherapy
  • Start the Follow-Up
